Editor

Role summary: Lead editorial strategy for a journal title; oversee peer review and editorial decisions; ensure compliance with IJRGP publisher-level policies.
Key responsibilities

  • Set editorial direction and standards for the journal.
  • Make final editorial decisions based on peer review and editorial advice.
  • Recruit and manage the Editorial Board and reviewers.
  • Oversee special issues and calls for papers.
  • Ensure adherence to ethics, indexing and archiving requirements.

Required qualifications

  • PhD or equivalent scholarly record in relevant discipline.
  • Prior editorial experience (EIC, associate editor, guest editor) preferred.
  • Strong publication record and international network.

Desirable

  • Experience with indexing applications (DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science) or Crossref metadata workflows.

Reviewer

Role summary: Provide timely, constructive, and evidence-based peer reviews.
Key responsibilities

  • Review assigned manuscripts objectively and confidentially.
  • Declare conflicts of interest and adhere to reviewer guidelines.
  • Provide clear recommendations and actionable comments for authors.

Required qualifications

  • Published researcher or experienced practitioner in relevant field.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate methods, data and reporting.

 

Advisor

Role summary: Provide high-level guidance on scope, indexing strategy, metadata workflows, or technical publishing systems.
Key responsibilities

  • Advise on Scopus/Web of Science/DOAJ application readiness.
  • Review metadata and DOI/ Crossref deposit procedures.
  • Suggest improvements on preservation and XML/HTML workflows.

Required qualifications

Demonstrable experience with indexing or publishing technology; prior advisory roles desirable.


National Co-ordinator

Role summary: Act as the regional point of contact for author outreach, editorial recruitment and liaison with institutions.
Key responsibilities

  • Promote the journal(s) within the country/region.
  • Help identify reviewers and editorial board members locally.
  • Assist authors with submission queries and workshop coordination.

Required qualifications

Strong local academic network; prior editorial or administrative experience preferred.


Editorial Assistant

Role summary: Support editorial operations, handle manuscript triage, coordinate peer review invitations and manage production workflows.
Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial technical checks on submissions.
  • Coordinate reviewer invitations and follow-ups.
  • Liaise with authors during revision and proof stages.
  • Maintain manuscript records, metadata, and basic copy-editing support.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a relevant field); experience with manuscript systems (OJS, ScholarOne, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Acquisition Executive

Role summary: Identify and recruit high-quality content, special issue proposals and partnerships.
Key responsibilities

  • Source special issue proposals and guest editors.
  • Negotiate content partnerships and sponsorships consistent with ethics policies.
  • Track topical trends and propose targeted calls for papers.

Required qualifications

  • Proven track record in content acquisition, publishing or academic outreach.

Other

Includes: production editor, copy-editor, XML/HTML specialist, marketing & communications, SEO specialist, metadata specialist.

Expect an acknowledgement within 3 business days. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview (video or email) within 2–3 weeks, depending on role urgency.
